Toddler Talk

O.K. so these chatterings may only appeal to us but I have to share some 'Sophiaisms' that really tickled our fancy.

'You look like a sandwich' (Orestes and I dancing in the living room)
'I'm not very fond of that'
'Holy Moly, look at this'
'What's a cigarat Daddy?
'To be honest with you I'm a little bit cross'
'Excuse me darlin, it hurts. Gentle please' (Instructions as I brush her hair)
'Oh isn't that adorable?
'Over heating is an expression you know' (Don't ask me)
'LIsten up mama, just listen up'
'He's perfect me darlin'
'Goodness gracious my'
'So, they have to be connectilated to these guys, so they're waiting, waiting, waiting to be connectilated'

I could go on and on but I'll spare you!

Welcome baby Ellis

Welcome Baby McAuley! Congratulations to our lovely friends on the birth of their gorgeous daughter. We are so glad she's here. Mama Kirstin and babe are doing well. Sophia did not want to put her down.

Tulip Farm

What a gorgeous day. Sophia ran herself ragged - love that! The kids had a train ride, enjoyed the slide - Sophia head first as often as she could. The tulips were stunning.

Sunshine deprived

We're all so sick of the rain that whenever the sunshine makes even the slightest appearance we're out and about enjoying it to the max.

Easter

Soph had a great time with all the easter activities this year. The chocolate easter egg making with Kirstin and Clara was a big hit - nothing like her parents! The masks and egg and spoon race were fun too. We went down to Bend for spring break and her easter egg hunt was in the snow - which makes for easy egg spotting I guess!

Handmade treasures

I had so much fun making these gifts for my friends beautiful new babies. Sophia did not want to give the daisy dress away! She does get to keep the summer flower dress - the fabric was so cute I couldn't resist it!
