Pumpkin Patch fun

Halloween is so much fun - I went trick or treating with Sophia this year and we had a great time. She stuffed her pockets with lollies and then gave them all away - not sure how many more years we'll get away with that! We went to a pumpkin patch to get our pumpkin for carving - lots of fun.

Sweet tooth

We had a great time making cookies and treats for our friends for the holidays - good times. Soph loves to ingest the butter by the pound!

Finding the Perfect Tree

We had such a great morning out at one of the local Christmas Tree farms looking for our tree - we wanted something small and sweet to fit our living room. It was such a gorgeous day. Santa decided that the only way Sophia could be coerced into sitting on his lap was if Mummy joined her - nice try Santa!

Peace and quiet

We had a lovely quiet Christmas eve just the three of us at home. Fi enjoyed some hot chocolate with Daddy.

Sledding

I figure we'll strengthen her legs and neck and soon enough she can pull a plough! We had so much fun sledding down the hill - up again was a little rougher. There is so much snow this year, we've had a few good ski days but lots of fun sledding around the house.

U.S. Citizen

February 21st marks the day I crossed over to the other side and became a U.S. citizen. It was a fun morning with people from all corners of the world - I would love to start a supper club with this group! Thankfully I get to keep my Aussie citizenship and get to vote the cronies out of office here - a good deal all round.

Winter crafts

Soph is wearing the sweater and hat I made for her. Needless to say the neck has to be pulled out (again!) and made a little smaller. Unfortunately she has decided that she doesn't like to wear the jumper anymore - heartbreaker!
